About Us

We are an Haitian non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged citizens from Laviktwa, a small town located in the northern region of Haiti. It all started in 2017, during a visit to Laviktwa, Jacques R. Pierre observed several challenges affecting the community. Motivated by a desire to make a difference, he proposed the creation of a WhatsApp group as a platform to bring people together and explore ways to collectively support and uplift the community. In order to make it more appealing, he named the WhatsApp group " Pitit Laviktwa Afiche'w, which translates to, Children of Laviktwa, come and support your community."
